What a Polymer80 frame kit does not include, and the parts list to finish it

The frame kit box is generous about tools and quiet about parts. Here is the complete list of what you still need for a PF940-series pistol, in the order you will install it.

Lower parts kit

One kit, matched to the Gen 3 model the frame copies: G19 for PF940C, G17 for PF940v2, G26 for PF940SC, G43 for PF9SS, G21 or G20 for PF45. It contains the trigger with trigger bar, trigger housing with ejector, connector, trigger spring, slide stop lever and spring, slide lock and spring, magazine catch and spring, and the locking block. Some kits omit the locking block; check.

Pins

Three pins: trigger pin, trigger housing pin and locking block pin. They are often in the parts kit; a separate steel pin kit is cheap insurance, and the locking block pin is the one that gets lost on the floor.

Rails

Already in the frame kit: the front locking block rail system and the rear rail module. Do not buy them twice.

Slide, barrel, recoil assembly

A complete slide assembly for the same model is simplest. Building the slide yourself adds a striker assembly, extractor and depressor plunger, firing pin safety, spring cups, slide cover plate and sights.

Magazines

Any factory or aftermarket magazine for the matching model. Nothing on the frame changes magazine fit.
